A Red And Grey Extra Quilt.

This is a re-make of my Woodland Quilt from last month.
I wanted to make it in totally different fabrics so it was not a baby quilt. I went with the red and grey so it can fit with Christmas without actually being a Christmas quilt. I have used these fabrics in several other quilts.
Again, I kept the quilting to a simple all over meander.
The backing was another grey from the range. And the red continued into the binding.
So there we have it. Another quick and easy finish at 41 in sq.
We have had three lovely hot days here but I can hear the thunder rolling in. Hope it brings some rain as well as a change.

Great quilt Karen!! Are you quilting on a home machine, and if so, how do you keep the stipple large? I either have to mark it first and follow the lines or I end up with a progressively smaller and smaller stipple!!!
Yes, this is a beauty! Those grays and bits of red are just lovely. I may have to get my hands on some of that scroll print! Yum!

I love those fabrics, and best yet, they can be used year round. It’s a bonus when your able to find a holiday theme fabric that doesn’t scream holidays!

The quilt is gorgeous. I love red and grey.If I wanted to start over completely I would have a red and grey Christmas but I have too much stuff with sentimental value so I have no theme at all.
