End Of Month Finishes.

I am ready to deliver my donation quilts next week, so I made the effort to finish these last three before the end of October.
They have all been made from the one pack of 10 inch squares from a layer cake. I had sorted them into colour groups. Some had 9 squares and others had 12. The blue quilt was in a post back in September.
First up, the orange quilt.

Simple blocks with sashing and corner stones. Here are close ups of the fabrics.

I used the alphabet fabric for the backing and an orange spot for the binding.
This one is very bright and cheerful.

Next up is the pink quilt.

Fun blocks again.

I found a fabric with deep pinks that worked for the backing and also used it for the binding.

Last up is the smaller green quilt.

I have been pleased that with each of these quilt tops I have been able to find suitable fabrics in my stash to use in the sashing and cornerstones.

I thought the owls were cute in all the colourways.
I have used a lot of this green rhino fabric in several quilts. This is the last time I had enough for a backing.

For those who celebrate Halloween, have a great time. Otherwise, enjoy the weekend.
Just to finish, a few photos of the sweet peas growing crazy.
Cheers, Karen
