Chickens And Pigs Finished.

Yippee! My Dancing Chickens and Flying Pigs quilt has made it to the finish line. It has been a lovely quilt to work on and I am now looking forward to catching up with Anni Downs next design.
Quilting done and binding finished.
Lots of fun, quirky blocks in this quilt. They are all entertaining but here are a couple of favourites.
I think a quirky quilt needs a fun backing as well, so I chose these bicycles.
And to finish it off I used a blue batik for the binding, similar in colour to some of the wool used in the blocks.
I am steadily working through projects from last year, many very close to a finish. Two more quilts have been sandwiched and are patiently waiting. Lots to do.
Have a wonderful week.
Cheers, Karen
An amazing finish Karen, absolutely stunning!
What a perfect quilt. I am just smiling away over here. It is so pretty and such a joy to see all the “quirky” things in it!
I have been watching another quilter make this one. I love your fabric selections! A finish always feels good, doesn’t it?
What a delight Karen! The sayings are great! I had some that backing fabric from some time ago- one of my favourites too!
This is so delightful. Your workmanship is fabulous.
So pretty! Love it! ❤️❤️
And a beautiful finish it is Karen.
It’s full of FuN things to look at & read.
Congrats on a stunning quilt…xox
your quilt looks lovely. Such a fun quilt. Hugs, xx
Lots of interesting things on this quilt to check out and admire. You have certainly been busy with two more sandwiched and ready to quilt next.
Totally love it Karen… beautiful piece. I have got Where We Love is Home to do… which is the one you are doing next?
