Sunny New Year.

A New year. Time to start a fresh year of blogging. Lots of sunny days already. And these beauties opened to start the New Year as well.
Some stitching has been happening. This is the second panel of Over The Hill (Wendy Williams).
I have really enjoyed selecting fabrics for this quilt – the deck chairs especially made sense to include in the background.
So, two down, four to go. Here they are on the design wall with lots of other blocks ready to go together.
Looks a bit crowded!
I do hope your year has started well.
Cheers, Karen
Over the Hills looks fabulous to me. I love your fabrics. Your sunflower is gorgeous. I get just a big jealous of my Aussie friends this time of year, when it’s freezing here and you have such beautiful yards and gardens. LOL!!
Wonderful quilt.
Goodness, that sunflower is striking!
I am liking these blocks very much.
Happy New Year Karen! How delighful is your sunshiney sunflower! Love your new project too. Happy stitching xx

I love the “New York Beauty” look to the “Over the Hill” piece. This is going to be fun!!!
So glad you have your blog working again. My favorite quote is “Technology is great until it isn’t!!!”
Fun fabric choices. It’s secret little surprises
Looks like you have a wonderful start on a fun project.
