Just a quick visit to show two finishes before they head off to their new homes.
This is the little quilt that has been made for some friends who are about to become great grandparents. The baby is due next week, so I have finished just in time.
And the other finish is the blanket that has been under way for quite a while. Good to see the satin binding on now.
Both will be in their new homes next week.
Your finishes are gorgeous…they will be loved in their new home. Awesome wool embroidery!! Some day I hope to start a wool project. hugs pauline

These two pieces are wonderful! I love the quilting on your quilt. Did you do it yourself? I just took a class to learn how to use my stitch regulator and FMQ. I am in awe of anyone who can make this all work.
It’s raining babies isn’t it? :-)
I love the teddy bear quilt. What a special gift that will be treasured for a many years to come. And your beautiful hand stitched one for your grandbaby… WOW! It’s beautiful, I love the satin binding. Now just make sure it doesn’t get thrown up on, or, or, or!! You know how those darn babies are! :-) :-)
Nothing like a deadline to get things finished! Both are gorgeous and so perfect for little babies, but I’m sure will be treasured for a lifetime.
