Triangles Done.

I have finished the straight line quilting and the binding on my half square triangle quilt. I really like the simplicity of the design when using half square triangles with white.
The fabric is Moda Winter Song. I have used a Moda Bake Shop pattern found here. I did add a border to the original design. I started making it early last year, but like many things, it was put aside in a waiting line. Lovely to have it finished now.
I am really enjoying Spring in the garden at the moment. Although the wind today is playing havoc with my hay fever!
And of course it is a day for dads here, so Happy Father’s Day!
And finally, a shout out for Melody at The House On The Side Of The Hill.
Melody is celebrating her first year of blogging with a very exciting give away.
She would love to have you visit her. Use the link above.
Lovely, lovely quilt! More and more I love light background colors, it kind of brightens up the quilt.
I love your quilt! I have a thing about half square triangles. They look great used on an entire quilt. Your fabric choice is great also!
Fabulous sewing and beautiful flowers. Thank you so much for mentioning my giveaway.
Your quilt is beautiful, as is your garden! Roll on Spring!
Hello Karen,
Congrats on a great finish, white always brightens a quilt. Is this one for you?
Happy Monday.

It turned out great. I love half square triangles, such a great design!
That is a really pretty quilt! Very crisp and perfect looking.
Your Spring is looking mighty good, too.
Congratulations on your finish! It’s beautiful!! The white does look so fresh and crisp! I’m halfway through a hst quilt with hot pink as my solid. Your garden photos are lovely, I can just smell those freesias and grape hyacinths.
Very lovely quilt. I find triangles very daunting to sew, but they look great if all goes well.
Your garden pictures are gorgeous. I hope your allergies get better. I know they can ruin ones day.
Jen :)
I’m not sure which is more beautiful… your wonderful quilt or the lovely flowers!
It is gorgeous. So fresh looking. Thanks for posting the finished quilt. I have a collection of 30’s prints that I think I will use for this pattern. I am inspired!
There’s nothing better than a crisp white quilt. What a great way to use up those little pieces too. Spring for you, fall for me. My garden is drying up with the heat and going away! :-( Nice to see the color in yours though!! :-)
The quilt is awesome… I love the HST’s on white (am doing something similar.. but much smaller….) It looks so fresh…
Spring flowers are just lovely….. hope the sneezing doens’t get too bad…

Wonderful quilt. Loving the white with colour thing that is happening all over the place.
Wish my garden had such pretty flowers in it that I could share too. Well, actually, I wish my garden had flowers in it full stop.
