Triangles Done.

I have finished the straight line quilting and the binding on my half square triangle quilt. I really like the simplicity of the design when using half square triangles with white.

The fabric is Moda Winter Song.  I have  used a Moda Bake Shop pattern found here.  I did add a border to the original design. I started making it early last year, but like many things, it was put aside in a waiting line. Lovely to have it finished now.

I am really enjoying Spring in the garden at the moment. Although the wind today is playing havoc with my hay fever!

And of course it is a day for dads here, so Happy Father’s Day!

And finally, a shout out for Melody at The House On The Side Of The Hill.

Melody is celebrating her first year of blogging with a very exciting give away.

She would love to have you visit her.  Use the link above.

Lovely, lovely quilt! More and more I love light background colors, it kind of brightens up the quilt.

I love your quilt! I have a thing about half square triangles. They look great used on an entire quilt. Your fabric choice is great also!

    Hello Karen,
Congrats on a great finish, white always brightens a quilt. Is this one for you?

Congratulations on your finish! It’s beautiful!! The white does look so fresh and crisp! I’m halfway through a hst quilt with hot pink as my solid. Your garden photos are lovely, I can just smell those freesias and grape hyacinths.

Very lovely quilt. I find triangles very daunting to sew, but they look great if all goes well.

Your garden pictures are gorgeous. I hope your allergies get better. I know they can ruin ones day.

It is gorgeous. So fresh looking. Thanks for posting the finished quilt. I have a collection of 30’s prints that I think I will use for this pattern. I am inspired!

There’s nothing better than a crisp white quilt. What a great way to use up those little pieces too. Spring for you, fall for me. My garden is drying up with the heat and going away! :-( Nice to see the color in yours though!! :-)

Wonderful quilt. Loving the white with colour thing that is happening all over the place.
Wish my garden had such pretty flowers in it that I could share too. Well, actually, I wish my garden had flowers in it full stop.
