Pink Elephants.

I am steadily working through a backlog of projects. The litlle elephants quilt was the first to make it to the finishing line. I had a few small pieces of the elephant fabric to use in the quilt.
Each block was framed with either pink or grey before going into the quilt.
Unfortunately the photo of the whole quilt does not show the true contrast in the colours and blocks. Thankfully there are close ups.
I used the pink in the centre, inner frame and binding. It was a lovely print.
The quilt size was 41 ins. square so I was happy to quilt it myself in a teardrop pattern.
So there we are. Another little quilt to be gifted when the time comes.
We have had several dry and sunny days which have been very much appreciated, but we are now in for another week of rain. I can’t believe the floods are still continuing in Victoria and NSW.. The news reported on a town that was experiencing its 8th flood this year. That is just mind bending!
Take care. Cheers, Karen

Such a sweet little quilt Karen! The pink fabric is delightful and your quilting the perfect finish! It’s cold and wet up here this afternoon- ideal sewing weather!
What a sweet little quilt! Someone will love it. I really like the elephants!
A cute wee finish.
