Happy Halloween!

Too early? Just being prepared.
This is a panel by Deb Strain called Moonlight Manor. I was going to cut it up and rearrange the pieces into a larger quilt, but I just couldn’t do it. I loved it the way it was, so the easiest solution was to turn it into a wall hanging. I did some simple quilting and found a stripe for binding.
I think this will work fine as a Halloween Banner.
Here are some of the pictures on the banner/panel.
As well as the banner, I have also finished the Halloween bunting. Looks like the decorating is all ready to go when Halloween comes around.
All these Halloween items will find a new home in the northern hemisphere.
I have also continued to play in my art journaling classes. I really enjoyed this one.
We are working hard at keeping warm here. Going outside now involves coats, gloves, scarf and hat. No snow – it just feels like it.
Stay warm.
Cheers, Karen
I have always loved Halloween, so this quilt is right up my alley!! I really like your art journal….are you taking a class?
That is a cute banner! I don’t think I could cut it apart either. That bunting would go well with the banner, so if they are going to the same home, you’ve planned well.
I’m not really big on Halloween stuff, but that is adorable!!!
the halloween banner is perfect and I love the quilting..makes it look like cobwebs hanging…. love your journal page…

We are on the same wave length! The dancing skeletons are great!
You’ll be ready for Halloween with your fun banner and wonderful bunting! It’s such fun fabric, I love the dancing skeleton. It seems to be extra cold this winter doesn’t it, I don’t go out without all my layers either.
Great banner!
Halloween get me every time. I just can’t get enough of those darn Halloween decorations. Love your panel. What fun quilting it too.
I have collected a ton of supplies for art quilting, but have yet to really jump on it. Love the idea but my mind needs a kick start to make it happen. Your journal is fabulous!
Never too early for craftiness.
You will have lovely decorations for Halloween.
Very icy here today too! brrrr
