A Few Little Birds.

I have enjoyed completing this little wall hanging from a pattern by Vivian Robinson (Viv’s Creations).
It is only 12 by 38 inches, so is an easy project to complete.
It is called Birds On The Ladder. It uses raw edge machine applique and a little bit of hand embroidery.
It is a great way to use lots of little bits of fabric.
Always a bonus when you can do that.
Unfortunately Viv does not have a website, but her huge range of patterns is available at Mrs Martins and Candleberry Country.
I thought a little bit of meandering for the quilting would be enough for this little wall hanging.
It was lovely to have some sunshine so the photos could be taken outside.

Very sweet wallhanging – the birdies and flowers are so whimsical! I agree, the meandering is perfect for this. I meander quilt a lot – often it’s just what a quilt needs – there’s no need to over-think it!
