Melting Snowmen.

It is super hot here today so no snowmen would survive. There would be a lot of puddles instead.
Thankfully my snowmen are made from felt and can withstand the heat easily.
I have not made this design before so this time I made enough to give away and one to keep. I am only half way through my plan to make one of every ornament for myself that I have already made and given away. I will start off again in January.
Slow and steady progress is being made on the Aussie Christmas quilt panels. Love this one with the possums.
There are quite a few embellishments for the stockings but they will have to wait until later.
I am thoroughly enjoying the designs and the fabrics.
With the heat today producing a hot wind I decided to bring a couple of pots inside. They tend to burn easily so needed protection.
Hydrangea and aster. I have been waiting for both to come into flower and did not want to see them turn brown in one day.
Lots of gifts have been wrapped here and I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hope it is not too stressful where you are.
Cheers, Karen
What??? I’m behind again…I never saw this post. Oh what cute snowmen. And those plants…they are beautiful! Your signs of summer are way better than my dried up leaves around here. LOL!
Oh so sweet – funny how we still love these traditional symbols of Christmas even though we’re in the wrong hemisphere for them!! Your Aussie Christmas panels look a lot of fun :-)
Being a fellow snowman lover those snowmen decorations are adorable. Living your Aussie Xmas quilt and those cute possums. Merry Christmas
Saw your little snowman ornament on another blog and they are so cute!
Little cuties…and YeS they would have melted yesterday…that’s for sure.
Merry Christmas xox
That is an adorable snowman ornament design!!! Love your Aussie Christmas possums. They remind me of my son’s sugar glider.
Very cute snowmen and they would certainly melt up here in the Far North. The hydrangeas remind me of my childhood home in Sydney where they flourished outside my bedroom window. Happy Christmas.
The snowmen are so cute!
Love your adorable little snowmen ornies! And it sounds like a good idea to bring in some of your plants. While you’re baking there, we’re freezing here! Unseasonable old weather for this time of year. At least it makes it seem a little more like Christmas.
What happy little snowmen! Yes, I try and make an extra when I do decorations and keep – I do wish I had labelled the year I made them just for interest…. Love the look of your Ausi Christmas – it will be so lovely. We are expecting a heatwave this week – I do feel for plants

Love your snowman. I spent the morning planting succulents into pots with a friend. A much better option in this heat.
Those Frosties are gorgeous!Love the Aussie panel too. It is often difficult to find a nice one. Beautiful blooms there. The heat is coming to us from the weekend apparently xx
Hi Karen oh these snowmen are so cute,is that the bunny hill pattern, one for each month ,I might copy you if it’s ok and do the same make one each month after Xmas.
It’s so hot we have a fire burning out of control near us. Lucky it’s going away from us,phew.
I also received a lovely surprise from you today ,thankyou my friend. Hope your day is a good one
Your snowmen are super cute Karen! I have a similar pattern I want to make, (hopefully more than one) for my grandson and me! Stay cool…it could be a long, hot Summer!
