Ribbon Eggs.

Thankfully, Easter is still a little way off. But I wanted to make a few of these now so there was no rush later.
I keep seeing lovely ribbons in the stores and can’t resist using them in these projects.
They are made using a felt base in the shape of an egg. I then arrange ribbons over the top and top-stitch these in place. I add a felt back and a ribbon for hanging, then top-stitch around the edge. I did stabilize the felt with Whisper Weft.
Watch out! That fluffy white bunny will arrive sooner than we think!

Eggcellent idea (sorry had to). This really is a brilliant idea and its a follow on from the gorgeous trees (which are on my gunnado list).
Those little projects will be a cute

Very cute Karen! I’ve already seen Easter candy in the stores, so it’s not too soon to start on crafts!
These are very sweet and such a great idea. Do you hang these eggs from an ‘egg’ tree for Easter? I have purchased ‘trees’ and I have gathered branches from the woods to fashion an egg tree to hang various kinds of eggs. Love yours!
Beautiful Easter eggs to brigthen up your home at Easter.
