Happy New Year.

Posted on | January 1, 2011 | 5 Comments

A new day and a New Year. Love the date, too ….. 1-1-11. I do get excited about little things like that.

Well! I am also excited about the year to come. I had a great time in 2010 with family, friends, travel and sewing. I have had a whole year since retirement and I just LOVE it! Love the idea of being able to do the same again, and more, this year.

I am looking forward to loads more sewing and keeping contact with the bloggy friends I have made throughout the year. There’s lots happening with family, and travel is on the horizon, too.

I hope your outlook for the New Year is positive and inspiring!

Love your flowers…..and retirement. It’s been 8 years for me. I retired at age 52 and never did join the work force when we moved to the United States. I’ve been foot loose and fancy free. The only thing about retirement is I’m not as organized as I was when I worked full time….always say to myself “I’ll do it tomorrow”. Any snowmen blocks in your mailbox yet?? They should be arriving soon.

The best to you and your family in 2011.
