Colourful Lavender Friday.

Lovely lavender today. This week Bev at Kainga Happenings is hosting Colourful Fridays, so check out her post for all the wonderful pictures.
When Bev suggested lavender I instantly thought of the lavender sachets that our children always brought home from the Mothers’ Day stall at school. Always a good memory.
Now there are lavender jams, cheeses, scones …. just about anything you like! This is my lavender photo collection.
A lavender gnome. You can find the pattern here.
And of course the real thing! You can almost smell it.
Some threads.
And the embroidery to match.
Some flowers.
A tree.
And last of all, some fabric.
Have a lovely lavender day!
Karen, I see you have lovely lavender in your garden as well. I especially love the embroidered piece.
Kay :)
Your lavender embroidery is stunning! So very very gorgeous… just as all your other lavender bits and pieces.
… and that gnome – what a cutie!
love your pics – especially the embroidery!
Very pretty. The gnome looks like he would be fun to create.
Love your lavender basket. The Australian embroidery patterns are WONDERFUL but hard to find in the US. I keep looking….have a wonderful day!
Lovely lavender flowers!
I’ve never been successful with growing lavender.
Lavender is such a soft colour. Charmaine
Beautiful pics and I adore your little gnome

Lavender scones with lavender jam and a dollop of cream sounds like a great idea. I’ll put the kettle on :-)
