Workshop And Finishes.

December has raced up very quickly and I am sure it will speed up even more as we get closer to Christmas. Good luck with all your Christmas shopping and sewing.
I had the good fortune to attend a wonderful workshop with Keryn of Christmas Creations. A group of four of us worked hard in the morning and ended up each with our own Nodder.
I thought this one was a bit lonely so made sure some friends came home, too.
As well as being a great teacher, Keryn is also a great cook and served up a scrumptious morning tea. Thank you, Keryn, for a wonderful workshop. I am looking forward to doing this again!
I have made a finish on another of my quilts. The binding is stitched down and it is ready to go.
I would like to play with this pattern again using different colours. I enjoyed the way this design came together.
It certainly used up a load of scraps, many of them very old.
The backing fabric is a field of dandelions.
Okay, time to get more shopping done. Good luck with all your finishes leading up to Christmas.

Congratulations on another awesome finish! What a great stash buster pattern. I would love the name of the pattern and or the designers name…add it the quilts I hope to make after the dust settles after the big move. I’ve not heard of ‘Nodders’…super fun!! Happy stitching, Pauline
I love the Nodders…they are such fun!!! The quilt design is wonderful too and I cant wait to see what you do with other color schemes!!!

I had never heard of nodders, but yours surely are cute. Your red, white and blue quilt is really pretty, too. I’ll have to think about that one for one of my projects.
This is the first I’ve seen Nodders, but they sure are darling! I imagine they must have been lots of fun to make since you seem to have made a few. Your red, white and blue quilt is pretty awesome. I love those stars!
Your nodding family are gorgeous, Karen, they will be a great addition to your Christmas decorating! Your quilt is a beautiful finish – I agree, it looks like a good one to play with colours, secondary design quilts are great fun!
