Slow And Steady.

Some sewing jobs just take time and can’t be rushed. I have been slowly working on the quilting of the Butterfly quilt. Just straight line, in the ditch quilting, but still time consuming. I am almost there, possibly one or two nights and then it should be ready for the binding. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

In the meantime, there hasĀ  been a little more stitching going on.

Karen your quilt looks great. Nothing beats the look of quilting on the back. I know ditch quilting it slow and kind of boring, but it looks fantastic when it’s done. Great job.

New stitcheries. You are a busy girl. Kind of nice to get projects done too isn’t it. Not that I would know. It’s a goal of mine though! hahahaha

Hi Karen, I just adore your red stitcheries!!! My favourite colour of all and they are so sweet. The quilting is coming along nicely, you’ll be proud of yourself when you finish. I can’t cut straight, so I think you’re pretty cool being able to do straight line quilting. Kind regards, Anita.

I am always surprised how long it takes to do straight line quilting, it always looks good but like you say it is very time consuming. Oh la la look at you speaking French LOL. I keep thinking I should start something for Christmas otherwise it’s going to be that last minute panic again….. A Bientot! Linda x
