I really like the sharing of ideas in all quilting groups and this quilt is one example of that. Our DIL attended a quilting class with some friends when she was in USA. She learnt the technique of making the 3D bow ties. When she was back here in Aus she was able to teach me. Some of my friends saw this quilt and liked it, so I was able to teach them the technique too. And I am sure it has been passed on again.
There are several different layouts for this pattern and I would like to make another one soon.
