Angels, Festivals and Thanks.

I have been sorting through a few quilts and getting things ready for Christmas decorating.
I love it when you rediscover something. This often happens with Christmas items because they are packed away for most of the year.
Here is my quilt, Angels in the Garden. It is from Meme’s Quilts.
I really enjoyed the quirky angels.
They seem to have quite a surprised look on their faces.
Lots of lovely applique with blanket stitch ( by machine).
This is one of the many bits and pieces to come out for the festive season.
I have to remember to make mention of the busy time with on-line quilt festivals.
I am having a lovely time looking at all the Christmas Quilts over at SewCalGal this week. Don’t forget to take a look here.
I also need to say a thank you as I was lucky enough to win a prize in Amy’s Quilt Festival from Wish Upon a Quilt.
Thanks again to Amy and Wish Upon a Quilt for the opportunity to participate and their generosity.
Love the angels. What a great quilt.
You are so right – I love the surprised look on the angel faces! Your quilt is adorable.
Beautiful. I might put a couple of lovely buttons on my blue quilt that I am making for my son. Charmaine
I love the combination of angels and homespuns. It has such a warm feeling. Another great job you’ve done there! :-)

Love your angel quilt. I’ve had that pattern for a few years now but have not make the quilt. I do believe I will make this in the new year so it will be ready for Christmas 2011. I have a lot of Meme’s Quilt patterns. Love the homespuns….
Another christmas quilt – I love this one too. The angels are just too cute. I have a lot of angels on my christmas tree – from shell angels to hand crafted angels with lacey skirts. I’d love to see your house decorated up for the holidays.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Well, you sure are up and in blog land early. My excuse is I need something constructive to do while drinking my morning coffee and listening to the news before I go off to my big girl (teacher) job.
Love the angle quilt. It gives me another project to add to my long list of “wants”. lol
Have a great day!
