A Finished Race (Track).

I had started this quilt last year. My friend was making the same quilt so we worked together piecing the panels and then had another day pinning the layers together.  Along came all the Christmas sewing and this one was put aside.  It was good to be able to take it out and know that all the preparation was done and that I could start right in on the quilting.

I had a little play with parts of the quilt – some pebbles, wavy lines, curves and meanderings.  Always love a stripey binding. Good to have it ready for visitors in a couple of weeks. I’m sure it will be down on the floor with toy cars driving all over it. Just what it is made for!

Hi Karen, That is a far out quilt, so colourful and any boys dream to own it. Kind regards, Anita.

Terrific quilting job. There is some little person who is gonna love it, but probably not nearly as much as you being on the floor, playing with em too. What a fun quilt.

This is really fantastic. I’ve already got two grandsons and another is due soon, so it would be great to make one too. I love the idea – clever you.
