Seeing Spots.

When I had completed my clam shell wall hanging, I had quite a few left over circles. I decided to applique them to a variety of black and white background fabrics and turn them into a mini quilt.
A little bit of quilting was done and then a spotted binding was added. It measures about 22 inches square. I am not sure yet if I should hang it or leave it as a table centre. Maybe both.
I have also managed to get back to my Dancing Chickens, Flying Pigs blocks and have finished number 5.
Number 6 is now being prepared.
That’s a short and sweet post for today. Hope everyone is finding plenty to do in isolation.
Cheers, Karen
What a fun quilt–love the spotty binding too! Your Dancing Chickens is block is very cute and whimsical–so many tiny details!
I thought I commented on these pieces, which I love. The circle piece speaks to me. I like that you mixed small and large and color combinations. Yes, I like all of it.
The whimsy of the jacket and boots piece is just fun. I think it’s calling to hang a child’s room.
What bright and fun circles! Love all the different backgrounds. You wool stitching is just so much fun to see. You do know how the delight us with them.
Love your spots.
Love the black and white backgrounds…sets off the pretty circles so well. Nice to wodkon different style projects xx

Love that quilt! It is so bright and happy, just what I needed too see!
Two very different projects, and both delightful!
Adding your vibrant circles to the graphic black and white prints creates a awesome playful quilt.
Fun projects, great way to use up those circles.
I love the wallhanging/tabletopper. Just perfect having the bright circles against the black and white…. lovely to see the flying pigs quilt out…. so much loveliness…

Lovely stitching as always Karen! The black and white has such a modern and graphic look, contrasting beautifully with the whimsy of the stitchery! Stay well.
I see spots before my eyes too! Lovely little finish, your circles look great on the black and white.
