Little Stitching Finishes.

I have been enjoying working on some of Lynette Anderson’s small projects.
The first one is a pin cushion made from the pattern, Garden Pincushions.
I used a Cottage Garden Perle 12 thread called Oxalis for the stitching. This went together very quickly and is finished off with the gorgeous button that came with the pattern.
The next is a little 12 X 12 block using some designs from the book, Stitch It For Christmas.
Again, I have used Cottage Garden Threads and the fabric is also part of Lynette Anderson’s Christmas range.
I have been enjoying working with some smaller projects and being able to finish them quickly.
Hopefully there will be more stitching to follow on the weekend. Have a good one.
Hello Karen,
Oh that little button for the pincushion is perfect. Lovely little projects for your home.
Happy days.

I love your hand work. It would probably kill me to put a pin in the pincushion now!
:-)
And what a cute little reindeer! Gorgous as always!
So pretty! I especially like your stitching on the pincushion.
Lovely stitching Karen. Love a cute pincushion.
Karen,
Very nice! Love the pincushion and the button sets it off. Gorgeous little quilt and I rather love the stand you’ve put it on.
It’s great when you do small projects and have something to show for your time.
Enjoy.
Cheers, Anita.
Very cute pin cushion! What do you use to stuff yours with? And that Reindeer blocks is so adorable. There is something to be said for small projects! o:)
Love both of your projects Karen, your pincushion is far too pretty to stick pins in! and the little reindeer makes me smile. Hugs
Your embroidery is BEAUTIFUL. I know what you mean about small projects and getting something done to enjoy now. I have a baby quilt in my immediate future and am looking forward to something manageable.
such lovely projects karen,well done.xx
