Snow People.

Thankfully we have no snow here, but it is possible, although very rare! My snow people are the woolly kind from a pattern by Bonnie Sullivan.

This photo is deceptive because the piece is quite large, 45 X 14 inches, but of course is very hard to show in a photo.
To show each of the snow people in detail, I have split the photo into three sections.

The wool has been a delight to work with, and I have used Sue Spargo perle threads for the stitching.
I had a starry fabric that I used for the backing, and a green with a fine stripe for the binding.

Included in the pattern was another smaller design with two snow people. I couldn’t resist making that one as well.

This one did include snow. I do like the rabbit and cardinal that appear in each design.
The only decision I have to make is do I want to put stars on top of any or all of the trees?
We have had a busy week so it has been good to have today at home. Time to adjust to the start of Daylight Saving here, as well as an interrupted sleep due to an earthquake at 2am the night before measuring 4.8. Not big by a lot of standards, but enough to be loud and give the house a good shake. This seems to be happening every 4 or 5 years, so not too frequent.
Enjoy your week. Cheers, Karen.
