Some Sunny Quilts.

We are having a lovely, sunny day here, so I took the opportunity to take some photos outside in the sunshine. Even the breeze gave me a break, now and then. I have been enjoying making these Honey Bouquet quilts from Villa Rosa Designs after seeing all the lovely ones that Nancy has been making. They work so well as a small baby or toddler quick, coming in at 36 X 45 inches in size.
This one is a combination of some fabrics from different lines designed by Rosalie Quinlan/Decker.
I had more of the fabric range for the backing.
I found a soft blue and white stripe for the binding.
I am pleased with the end result for this one in such a simple design.
The next two use the same fabrics for the fronts.
I had a fun RWB flag fabric for the backing.
And a terrific stripe for the binding from the same range of fabrics on the front.
This is the second variation with the RWB fabrics.
I had to piece a backing for this one.
I found a different stripe for the binding.
The next one is a bit of fun with mixing up some fabrics. I found I had a few smaller pieces of the monkey and the spaceship fabrics, as well as the bright circle pieces. They all ended up in together.
To keep the fun theme going I used a piece of Cat In The Hat fabric for the backing.
This one is finished off with rainbow binding.
Four more to add to the donation collection.
Time to head back outside while we have this unusually warm day and spend some time in the garden.
