Very Cheeky!

While I was outside raking up leaves today, these two cheeky cockatoos just sat in the tree next to me. They were not at all bothered by having me near.
I was able to make these tooth fairy pillows for our grand children while we were away. I hope they are not in a rush to have teeth fall out!
We also had a chance to visit Longwood Gardens to see the light installations. They looked stunning. I also enjoyed seeing the fireflies putting on their own competing display.
This is the first display at the entrance. Definitely worth the visit.

Hi Karen,
It’s a sight to see when birds just land close to you and are not bothered. They are a pair of cute specimens alright. Love the tooth fairy pillows. I hope the children aren’t in a hurry to have their teeth fall out, but you know children!!……mine had worked out the total amount of money the tooth fairy was going to bring them and started to plan what they would spend it on!!!!

Those cockys are cheeky birds!! Your tooth pillows are so cute!! A lady I work with told her children the tooth fairy was dead!!! That’s cheeky!!!
The cockatoos are so fun… I love them but I do get a fright at their screech… never expect that noise… and I just love those tooth pillows… how fun…

Oh my, those lights ARE gorgeous! We don’t get cockatoos in our backyards here (unless one escapes from a cage), but we have plenty of sparrows, mourning doves, blue jays, mockingbirds out there each and every day. I’m watching a bunch of them right now at the bird feeder. Pretty tooth pillows, too!
My goodness!! I cannot imagine two cockatoos flying around free. That must’ve been amazing ~
