Happy Easter

We are fortunate to have a four day weekend for Easter. This gives many people the chance to get away for one last holiday while the weather is still warm. Our choice is to stay home and be off the busy roads because we can go away at any time.
As a result, I like to have a little bit of fun decorating for the Easter season.
Each year I try to make something new to add to the collection. This year, of course, were the multiplying bunnies.
I have also included some special bunnies from last year made by Fiona and Keryn.
Some of the extra bunnies have been given away, but I took some pics before they disappeared.
I have also completed this lovely little stitchery. It now needs to be turned into a mini.
It is from Anni Downs’ book, The Simple life.
I have plans to sandwich and quilt a small quilt today. The garden is also calling and the sun is shining, so there is plenty to do.
I must remember to change the clock for the end of daylight saving tonight!!

We live on a small farm and had real bunnies for quiet a while. I do not think they multiplied as quickly as your the blue ribbon winners! Read a couple of older posts to understand the bunny population–you have been keeping busy! They make such a darling display and sweet gifts for visitors.

You always make such fun festive displays, I love seeing all your bunnies together. They look as though they are having a party. Happy Easter and enjoy your fine weather, it hasn’t stopped pouring with rain here, lucky I like sewing :)
