Catching Up On UFOs.

Posted on | November 6, 2013 | 11 Comments

I made a bit of an effort to collect together a handful of items that needed only a small amount of work to finish them off.

I have a habit of finishing the stitchery part of a project but not following up to complete it.

So here are two mini hangings completed.

Cats - Sunburnt Quilts

Faces - Sunburnt Quilts

The sad part is that I started these so many years ago I can’t identify either pattern.

And they only took a VERY short time to complete.

I do need to change my ways!

  • Fiona says: those are both really sweet hangings so it's wonderful they got finished... i think we all have those 'need just a little bit to finish' projects... Hugz
  • Rachaeldaisy says: Your sticheries are so cute! Isn't it funny that we put off those last few steps that would finish a project. It's a great when you finally do because they feel like extra quick projects. The second one looks as though you've coloured it in with water colour fabric paint.
  • Sunnybec says: LOL now you make me feel guilty, I better go and look through my box and see what I need to finish! Love both of yours. Hugs xxx
  • Lesley says: Great stitcheries! Isn't it wonderful to be able to find a project that is so close to being finished! Well done!
  • Joan says: It's it fun to finish up things you can barely remember! LOL! Did you use water color pencils, or something like that on the bottom one? That is really cute.
  • Frances says: Doesn't it make you feel good to get something like that finished!!! Congratulations!
  • Kelly says: I know that feeling! Now that I am cleaning out I have a bunch of UFOs that I will be finishing. Maybe 1 per month?
  • Anita says: It's a lovely feeling to finish projects when they only have a bit of work to do on them...you feel like you've accomplished so much!! lol. They are lovely projects by the way. Cheers, Anita.
  • Elaine/MuddlingThrough says: Well, they are both very pretty! And a finish is always good, isn't it?
  • Sandi Butler says: Your stitcheries are lovely. Well done on finishing them off! I'm sure we all have a few projects sitting in the cupboard awaiting a finishing touch. I know I do.....
